Campus

The CMNS campus is located in Santa Maria Imbaro (Chieti) and is composed of nine buildings that cover an area of approximately 20,000 m².

Laboratories: The five-floor main building contains about 20 research laboratories (wet laboratories and offices) and includes ample space for future expansion.

Conference facilities: Main auditorium (capacity: 300), smaller meeting rooms (capacity (90), numerous "study rooms" and the bar area and terrace of the CMNS offer full conferencing facilities at high standards. Local and international conferences have been hosted at the CMNS through the years. Coupled to the availability of on-site housing (see below) and inexpensive local hotel accomodation (e.g. in Mozzagrogna, Fossacesia, Lanciano), conference numbers of up to around 300 delegates can be handled smoothly and efficiently.

CMNS Residence and Guest House: The on-site residential facilities of the CMNS comprise 42 single/double/triple flats and a Guest House that contains further 4 flats. They have full facilities for either short or long stays of visiting scientists or groups, with new arrivals having at least an initial option of being located on-campus. Flat rental is all inclusive, and competitively priced as it is based on the actual running costs.

Staff Canteen: A purpose-designed and built self-service staff canteen is also located on-site, and is surrounded by an open grassed area for moon-lit conference dinners in the sunny season.
