We are glad to announce the FEBS Advanced Course on “Lipid Signaling and Disease”, which will be held on 9-15 September 2009, in Ortona (Italy).
This will be the 7th edition of our FEBS Advanced Course that focuses on various aspects of lipid signalling and that we have organised every other year since 1997.
The programme for this edition focuses on the use of lipid signalling pathways as novel drug targets. As the spirit of FEBS Advanced Courses is to promote student-tutor interactions, time will also be devoted to small-group discussions.
A number of FEBS Youth Travel Fund (YTF) grants for European Ph.D. students and young researchers will be available to cover travel and lodging expenses, as well as meals and the registration fee.
The deadline for grant application is May 31, 2009!
